Rawdah — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Rawdah is a nursery-management platform operated by INC Technologies (Kuwait). Each nursery using Rawdah is the controller of the data about its children and families; INC Technologies acts as the processor that runs the platform on the nursery's behalf. If you are a parent, the nursery your child attends decides what information is entered and shared. 2. Information we process

Category	Examples
Account	Name, email, phone number, role, password (stored hashed), preferred language.
Child & family	Child name, date of birth, class/branch, guardian relationships, attendance records, daily-diary entries and photos, incidents, and any notes the nursery records.
Financial	Invoices, payments and family account balances. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (Checkout.com) on their hosted page — we do not store card numbers.
Communications	Messages between families and staff, documents shared by the nursery, event RSVPs.
Device & technical	Push-notification token, app version, device type, and diagnostic/crash data used to keep the app reliable.

3. How we use it

• To provide the service: attendance, diary, billing, messaging, notifications, and reporting.
• To send transactional emails and push notifications (e.g. a check-in, a new invoice, a message).
• To process payments through our payment provider.
• To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and diagnose and fix technical problems.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use children's data for advertising.

4. Service providers we share with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service, under contract and only for that purpose:

5. Data retention

We keep data for as long as the nursery maintains its account and its records, and as required for legal, accounting and safeguarding obligations. When a nursery closes its account, its data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, subject to those obligations.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access is controlled by role-based permissions with strict per-nursery isolation. Passwords are stored hashed, sensitive files are stored encrypted, and administrative actions are logged. Two-factor authentication (email OTP) is available for accounts.

7. Children's privacy

Rawdah is used by nursery staff and by the parents/guardians of enrolled children. It is not directed at children as end-users; children's information is entered and managed by their nursery and guardians. We handle it solely to deliver the service to the nursery and family.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Because your nursery controls its records, please direct such requests to your nursery in the first instance; we will support the nursery in fulfilling them. You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in-app.
